Nov. 12th, 2011 05:05 amCame home from my 10pm-4am shift, put on pajamas, sipped raspberry Absolut from the bottle, and am now listening to a playlist of creepy&lovehateful&kinky songs (so much Depeche Mode~). You know what I'm feeling? I'm feeling writing. probably more BCM fanfic lololol don't I have my own damn projects to write? I actually spent a reasonable amount of time thinking about Chiaki and Yukinari and Natsume while I was at work tonight, but there are several "gahh what would the character dooo" roadblocks to the things I might write. We'll see if the vodka kicks in and lowers my give-a-fuck meter on writing the characters accurately enough that I just make something up and roll with it.
On a relevant note, I decided that since I'm not doing NaNo this year (in order to work on my visual novel and
kink_bingo) I really miss the whole "write moar!!1" vibe, so I'm doing just for myself RaStuWriMo--Random Stuff Writing Month! Not to be confused with RastaWriMo, which begins on April 20. Because I really need to get myself writing more. By Random Stuff Writing Month I mean that my goal is to write 35,000 words (edited the 50,000 down since I'm starting one third into the month) of ANYTHING this month. Well, anything creative. Though I might start including lab reports in that total as incentive to get them done. xP
My official starting point for that will be How to Break You~ Which comes in at 1926 words. I also wrote a little oneword.con entry today (for "positively"):
He was absolutely, positively in love. It had to be true.
Even though sometimes the lovebites bit a little too deep.
Even though sometimes Jason would get that wicked little glimmer in his eyes.
It was still love, it had to be.
...which only brings my total up to 1968.
(fancy, yes?)
I also started writing another thing before I went to work tonight~ I did the whole "put on Pandora, pick characters, write about them based on music" deal for all of one song, then I really liked where it was going so I just rolled with it. It's about Zack and Jason's first time, which was very much not what I expected to be writing. It's so fluffy it hurts. Also I didn't previously believe that the incident was as sweet as I ended up writing it, but I think I like it this way. I think I'm having this recoil to RESET and other things and just wanting to go back to good old Zack-and-Jason-happily-in-love. But, I mean, I was listening to Yellow... it's hard to not write sweet, loving, adorable things to that song.
Also Jason apparently sings in bed lololol poor Zack.
Maaan now I don't know what I want to go write.
